with Ben Brown
8:00pm to 9:00pm every Monday

Ben Brown is a children’s author, poet, short story/non-fiction/script/freelance writer, though he has never quite been able to work out what the various distinctions are, so he refers himself primarily as a writer, yet he does display an occasional propensity toward performance poetry probably as a result of an overt desire to appreciate the sound of his own voice in the hope that others may share his apparent enthusiasm for it. To this end you too can experience Ben’s sonorous expositions on the Green Fuse Poetry Hour, Monday evenings 8-9pm on Volcano Radio 88.5 fm.
Ben has written over a dozen children’s books as well as short stories for children and adults and general non-fiction. His poetry has been published in various anthologies and Radio NZ and The Radio Network have also recorded him. He lives in Lyttelton with artist/illustrator Helen Taylor and their two children.
