It’s a mix mash of different genres, Era’s, Cultures, Movements and Formats. From Rockabilly to German Avant-garde. Hip-Hop to Gypsy Swing. I’ve never settled on one sound but prefer a mixed bag, a two dollar mixture of eclectic Vinyl with grooves that get deeper by every show. I purchased my first record when I was 16, now 28 I’ve never look back. I heard a back to back on the radio of Dark side of the moon and I was hooked. Brought my first record on that cold CHCH winters day.Since then I’ve lived in Wanaka, Queenstown, Tekapo, Invercargill, Dunedin and Wellington always collecting, collecting music, learning about music.

I’ve been in a few bands in the last 8 years which have indulged my knowledge of the music industry as well as Aotearoa’s fine collection of Musicians. At the moment I play with Wellington outfit and my passion, Spartacus R, as well as CHCH’s very own Ragamuffin Children. Spartacus really expanded my mind you might say, along with the guys I Jam with whom also introduced me to a wide range of fine music. This year I decided to get out of Wellington to reunite my love of Lyttelton from which I feel in love with in my teens while living in CHCH. I scored a job @ the Mighty Wunderbar and a flat with some truly sweet characters.
