The popularity of Folk during the late 50s drove an interest in the roots of "American" music and lead into a life long interaction with Jazz and its roots and derivatives. 'Round Midnight' explores the ongoing development of Jazz. Bill's play lists frequently cross over to these related genres and pull together a mix of influences showcasing related instrumentation and styles that Bill pulls under the Jazz umbrella.
